Thanks to the 2007-2008 COLTS for allowing us to be a part of this hockey season. We knew it was going to be a transition year, and that it would take hard work and dedication, to make it to the playoffs. You came through on both counts!! There were fairweather fans who faded early in the season when the going got tough and the tide turned. And then there were the die-hard fans and parents who travelled to road games, had the the satisfaction of seeing you advance to Round 2 and cheered to the very end!! Be proud of what you DID accomplish this year!! Tyson and Ryan, we wish you well in the next phase of your life, and please remember that Barrie fans always like to see "their boys" come home! As for the rest of "the boys"-- enjoy your summer & your time at home with your family, but stay fit and rest up because... we'll see you in August to begin the 2008-2009 COLTS SEASON and with the talent we have, we know it will be a great one! GO COLTS GO!! |

Congratulations to Michael Hutchinson on being named OHL & CHL Goaltender of the Week for his tremendous showing last week - a .990 save percentage! Michael topped the Game 4 overtime thriller (62 saves) with a shutout in Game 5. Way to go Michael!! |
